Sports Massage in San Diego

Recovery and mobility work for athletes and consistently active people

You don't need to compete to benefit from sports massage. If you're putting regular physical demand on your body — running, lifting, training, playing — recovery is part of the work, and that's where focused bodywork fits.

Sports massage focuses on the demands of training: the areas under repetitive load, recovery between sessions, mobility, and the tension that accumulates when you train consistently.

Timing matters. Maintenance work through a training block is different from recovery work after a hard effort, which is different again from lighter work close to an event. If you have a race or competition coming up, say so — it changes the session.

Who This Is For

Runners, lifters, cyclists, swimmers, and team-sport athletes

Weekend athletes and desk-to-gym people

Recovery between training sessions

Mobility and range-of-motion work

Staying ahead of the tightness that builds with training load

Two athletes with 'tight calves' can need completely different sessions. The work adapts to your training, history, and what's actually contributing to the tightness — often blending deep tissue, stretching, and targeted recovery work.
